About Me

My name is Lubna Qureshi, though many of my students affectionately call me Mrs. Q. The journey that led me to Q Language Therapy is deeply personal and rooted in profound understanding. Growing up with my own auditory and verbal processing differences, I intimately recall the academic and emotional challenges of learning. That personal struggle ignited a lifelong passion, inspiring me to become a special educator for over 25 years – driven by a desire to create the supportive learning experiences I once wished for.

This understanding deepened significantly when I became a mother. Navigating the world with my own neurodivergent daughter, I experienced firsthand the parental journey of fierce advocacy, breaking down stigmas, and tirelessly seeking community and support. So, when you feel you're walking this path, know that I've walked it too – as a student and as a parent. This lived experience is not just part of my story; it fuels my work and dedication every single day.
